These are hot off the memory card. They are a proof that I was there and indeed suffered. I'm in blue and yellow, the kit of my team here, Kingsnorth International.


This is the start of the race, I'm on the left looking up at the hairy thing with liquid shaking out of it. I'm not sure what it was but I'm guessing that was some religious thing and that was supposed to be holy water or some such thing. Maybe that's what went wrong. But then again, it's just water. The guys on the right are indeed other Americans riding for the Johan Brunyeel Cycling Academy.

Sometimes tail gunning pays off. The photographers have a good opportunity to get a good shot. Of course the same would apply to a breakaway, only it would be more impressive.
