It's really dark in the morning. Really, really dark, really late in the morning. We haven't moved our clocks back because of corporations that want to make more money. Candy companies lobbied Congress to push back the change to standard time so it would be lighter later on Halloween. They said it would be safer. They also said that more light later means less energy used in a building. But what about dark mornings?
Except if you commute, it's more difficult to see at twilight, which there is a lot of now at rush hour. And really dark mornings. Really dark. The candy companies use a lot of corn, which is really just oil and natural gas. Rich people scratching other rich people's backs to get richer.
And if you didn't get to it yesterday, don't forget Matt Taibbi's blog post, Wall Street Isn't Winning, It's Cheating.
That's on the way to a smile.
