It's about a billion times better to ride a bike in Pittsburgh than Boston, but still, this needs to happen everywhere. We've sold our culture out to laziest, most wasteful transportation possible.

I'd seen that earlier and while I agree with what's being said, I'm not totally on board with the attitude that I detect. I prefer the article in The Stranger (http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/okay-fine-its-war/Content?oid=9937449) for tone. But yes, this is a liberation issue, and our cultural priorities as they stand now are effed.
